On Friday, September 10, 2010, the premier social event of the US Open, The Legends Ball was held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. Tennis legends, industry executives and VIPs, and celebrity tennis fans honored the heroes of the game and celebrated its history at the 30th annual Legends Ball, a stunning event which benefits the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum in Newport, R.I. The Legends Ball featured a tribute to the Tennis Hall of Fame’s Class of 2010 as well as the presentation of the Eugene L. Scott Award to Martina Navratilova and the Joseph F. Cullman 3rd Award to Mercedes-Benz. All proceeds benefit the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum.
