On Saturday, July 10, 2010, the Parrish Art Museum, Southampton, New York, honored Beth Rudin DeWoody and Ross Bleckner for their remarkable contributions to cultural and humanitarian causes throughout the world.  The sold-out event, attended by more than a thousand guests, was a glittering social gathering of the Hamptons' most sophisticated art collectors, artists, socialites, entertainers, philanthropists, and business leaders and raised $700,000

The event was hosted by Parrish Art Museum, Director Terrie Sultan, Board of Trustee Co-Chairs Douglas Polley and Carlo Bronzini Vender.  Parrish Trustees Deborah Bancroft and Dorothy Lichtenstein  were event co-chairs.

Beth Rudin DeWoody was feted by Anne Pasternak, President and Artistic Director of Creative Time, with a playful tribute in the form of a multiple choice pop quiz about the philanthropist and collector. Celebrated artist Eric Fischl delivered a testimonial about Ross Bleckner going back to the 1970s when they studied art together at CalArts.
