On Thursday, October 6, 2011, NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center hosted its 29th Annual Women’s Health Symposium Luncheon titled “Medication: Helping of Harming?” with leading medical specialists Lorraine J. Gudas, Ph.D and Mark S. Lachs, M.D.
The 2011 Symposium, moderated by Dr. Herbert Pardes, president and CEO of NewYork-Presbyterian, featured presentations and a panel discussion on medicine, “How Do You Know If a Medicine Works?” and “Is Medicine Helping or Hurting?”
