On Thursday, October 20, 2011, The Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center hosted its 23rd Annual Preview Party for The International Fine Art and Antique Dealers Show. Held at the Park Avenue Armory, the show featured many of the world’s most influential art and antique dealers in the U.S. and Europe. The event Co-Chairs were Melinda Blinken, Noreen Buckfire, Elizabeth Miller, Daisy Soros, and Michel Cox Witmer. The Associate Collector Chairs were Laura Harris and Elizabeth Pyne. Over 800 guests and leaders from the art, design and fashion worlds mingled amongst the sensational art and antiques, raising over $670,000 to benefit The Society’s patient care, research, and education initiatives at MSKCC. The Society has had the good fortune to be the beneficiary of the Preview Party since its inception in 1989.
The evening was sponsored by David Webb, Fiduciary Trust Company International, Paola Quadretti, One Kings Lane, and St. John with additional support from ELLE DÉCOR.
