In support of Miami City Ballet’s (MCB) Twenty-Fifth Anniversary Palm Beach celebration “Palm Beach Meets Miami Salsa!”, committee organizers, benefactors and art enthusiasts gathered on March 3, 2011 at the Palm Beach residence of Dr. Marvin and Baylie Rosenberg. Over 100 guests were warmly greeted by MCB's stunning principal dancers Jennifer Kronenberg, Carlos Guerra, Mary Carmen Catoya, Yann Trividic, Jeanette Delgado and Patricia Delgado while enjoying bellinis, champagne and chardonnay and passed hors d'ouevres of mini crab cakes, tenderloin on crostini and petite gorgonzola cheese souffles.

The evening's gracious hosts Dr. Marvin and Baylie Rosenberg welcomed friends and lauded donors of the pending April 7th Flagler Museum dinner dance benefit staged for MCB's milestone of dance in the Palm Beaches and introduced MCB Palm Beach liaison Philip Neal for further comments on the internationally acclaimed dance troupe's exciting plans for the Company's remaining stellar 2010/2011 season of Palm Beach programming scheduled at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.

Neal and MCB Founding Artistic Director/CEO Edward Villella expressed sincere appreciation to the Island community for their continued support as the Company’s leading South Florida audience and thanked MCB's Palm Beach Board of Trustees and benefit organizers for their financial support of the dinner dance which they proudly proclaimed as “completely underwritten”.

Accompanied by Kennedy Center Honoree Villella and MCB School Director Linda Villella, Neal presented a plaque to the Rosenbergs in honor of the cocktail reception kick-off for the Company’s 25th Anniversary Palm Beach celebration entitled “Palm Beach Meets Miami Salsa!” slated for April 7th at the historic Palm Beach landmark. Additional accolades went to event Co-Chairwomen Patricia E. Lowry and Miriam Knapp.

Those on hand to celebrate were MCB's Palm Beach board leadership Gillian Fuller, Mike Schultz, Lisa Huertas and Miriam Knapp along with avid dance fans and friends including Society of the Four Arts President Ervin Duggan, Fred and Jean Sharf, Alec and Mimi Flamm, Robert and Naomi Brest, Martin Phillips, Doug and Dale Anderson, Sally Ann Howes, Trisha and Jeffrey Cole, Jan Willinger, David Moscow, Rae Cherry, James and Audrey Foster, Fran Weisler, Dr. Robert Knapp, Mary Weiss, Lois Foster, Charlotte Kimelman, Rachel Grody, Gilbert and Judy Messing, David Kislak, Joanne Leibovit, Jay and Nancy Parker, Lora Schultz, the Honorable Robin Rosenberg, Richard and Robin Abedon, Rosanna Levin, Marla Behrman, David and Carla Herwitz, Dr. Richard Budson, Susan Agger, Dr. Larry and Millie Selinger, Timothy and Phyllis Hoffman, Edward and Sydell Masterman, Sandy and Jill Sirulnick, Barton and Margot Stein, Burton and Dr. Barbara Stern and Dr. Donny and Dr. Eliane Strosberg.
