Monday, November 10, 2008, Lincoln Center held its Fall Gala at Avery
Fisher Hall in New York City. Julien Studley was honored with
the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts Distinguished Service
Award—in recognition of his extraordinary accomplishments and
unique vision in the creative community of Lincoln Center and its
constituents—at a dinner preceding a performance of Prokofiev’s
complete ballet music for Romeo and Juliet by the Kirov Orchestra
of the Mariinsky Theatre led by Valery Gergiev.
