This Memorial Day Weekend, over 800 people took part in “Kites for a Cure,” a family kite fly benefit on Coopers Beach in Southampton, NY. Rechler Equity Partners, Long Island’s largest owner of commercial real estate, acted as the primary sponsor for the event that was held on Saturday, May 29, 2010 and raised nearly $200,000 for Uniting Against Lung Cancer, which funds innovative lung cancer research around the country.
