On December 7, 2011, J.McLaughlin’s Lexington Avenue store hosted dynamic mother and daughter duo Sharon Bush and Lauren Bush Lauren as J.McLaughlin, Teddy Share, and FEED partnered to give back this holiday season.
The store was adorned with designer-dressed FEED bears by Cynthia Rowley, Douglas Hannant, Erica Domesek, Irving and Fine, J.McLaughlin, LBL for FEED, Milly, Nicole Miller, Rachel Roy, Susan Rockefeller, Urban Zen, Vena Cava and Zang Toi.
The custom-designed bears will be auctioned at leading charity auction site charitybuzz from December 7 through December 20 at www.charitybuzz.com/FEED. Guests were invited to place the first bids on the bears, with iPads and MacBooks available on-site. For each teddy purchased, 3 treatments of Plumpy’Nut, an energy-dense paste with a 98% success rate of saving the lives of malnourished children, will be provided to starving children in developing countries.
