On May 20, 2010, Marcia and Richard Mishaan honored Harold S. Koplewicz, MD, Brooke Garber Neidich and the establishment of The Child Mind Institute at the unveiling of Mishaan’s model apartment at 180 East 93rd St., the new LEED certified boutique apartment building. The cocktail reception, which took place from 6pm-8pm, also served as a celebration of the new green residences developed by Greystone Property Development.
Guests clinked champagne glasses and nibbled on hors d’oeurves by David Ziff Cooking while raving about the elegant and modern design that Mishaan is so well known for, which was complimented by the fragrant florals by Mark Rose of Mark Rose Events. Also featured in the apartment were nesting tables by designer Monique Breaux of Posh Exclusive Interiors. Joining Greystone Property Development’s Doug Benach and Renee and Richard Steinberg of Warburg Realty Partnership, the building’s exclusive sales agent, were friends and supporters including Claude Wasserstein, Anne Keating, Bettina Zilkha, Jonathan and Somers Farkas, Tatiana and Campion Platt, Dr. Robert Grant, Frederick Peters of Greystone Property Development, Gillian Miniter, Jamee Gregory, Janna Bullock, Dana Hammond, Melissa Berkelhammer, Michele Gerber Klein, Susan Tabak, Nicole Miller, Pamela Fiori, LuAnn deLesseps, Dr. Kevin Plancher, Cindy Guyer, Patrick Stubgen, Liliana Cavendish and Dr. Shawn Sardi. Guests were sent home with bags filled with Mishaan’s book Modern Luxury and gifts from John Mahdessian’s Madame Paulette and Tracy Stern’s SALONTEA Teabar.
The Child Mind Institute is a non-profit organization devoted to transforming mental health care for the world’s children to enable them to reach their full potential.
