The
Cherry Lane Theatre celebrated its 10th
Anniversary with a Cherry Jubilee Gala on
October 1 at Capitale in New York City. The Gala
co-chairs were Dulé Hill, Joan
Firestone and Karen Giombetti.
The evening honored Harold Prince, legendary
director/producer and recipient of 21 Tony Awards; O.
Aldon James, Jr., president, National Arts Club; Lynn
Nottage, award winning playwright; and Tamara
Tunie, actress and producer of Tony Award winning
musical Spring Awakening.
