On Wednesday, March 30, 2011, Nicola Bulgari and the Carnegie Hall Notables—a membership and ticket program for music enthusiasts in their 20s and 30s—hosted the Seventh Annual Notable Occasion with pianist Alexander Romanovsky in Weill Recital Hall. After the exclusive sold-out concert, an estimated 300 guests gathered at Brasserie Cognac for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, where the multifaceted, all-female horn experience Genghis Barbie performed. The Seventh Annual Notable Occasion was generously underwritten by Nicola Bulgari. The evening benefited music education in the New York metropolitan area by supporting the many music education programs made possible by Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute.
Noteworthy attendees included: Chiara Attik, Soraya Darabi, Sean Eldridge, Brian Ellner, Lane Harwell, Chris Hughes, George Prassas, Eiseley Tauginas, Alexis Tobin, Timo Weiland, and Alexandra Zwicky.
Our annual roster of events is curated by the Notables Committee, made up of artists, socialites, and entrepreneurs in their 20s and 30s. The Notable Committee, led by Jimmy Zankel and Cody Franchetti, plays a vital role in the Notables program by serving as young ambassadors of Carnegie Hall to generate interest in Carnegie Hall and The Notables.
