On Thursday, March 10, 2011, East Side House Settlement hosted a kick-off party at Sicis Gallery in Soho to honor the Benefit Committee of the East Side House Settlement Gala Preview of the 2011 New York International Auto Show. Over 100 guests braved the elements and were welcomed by this year’s Gala Chairs Phil Yang, Chris LaSusa, and Elia Zois and Benefit Committee Chairs, Fe Fendi and Mariana Zois. Attendees enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while mingling amongst the stunning Italian mosaics and contemporary furniture at Sicis.
The event was sponsored by New York Magazine and officially kicked off the Gala Preview event taking place Thursday, April 21st 2011 (www.galapreview.org.) The Gala Preview is made possible through the generosity of the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association and the New York International Auto Show, as part of a proud tradition of dedicated community service. All proceeds from the event will benefit East Side House Settlement, a leading social services agency that serves young people and families in the South Bronx.
