Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research held a party on Friday, July 9, 2010 at a private home in Southampton to kick-off the upcoming Angel Ball scheduled for October 21 in New York City. Denise Rich, daughter Daniella Rich Kilstock and her husband Richard Kilstock were the hosts.
This year's gala honorees will include COTY, Inc. Chief Executive Officer, Bernd Beetz for his incredible work in support of blood cancer research through COTY's DKMS Foundation and Sean Parker, Managing Partner of Founder's Fund and the cutting-edge creator of the online music sharing site Napster and Facebook Causes.
The purpose of Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research is to encourage the development of more effective therapies for patients with leukemia, lymphoma and related cancers. The Foundation funds innovative clinical or basic science research that will lead to novel therapeutic approaches that could replace, or be used in combination with existing effective therapies. Such therapeutic approaches could include alternative or complementary medicine.
