The American Ballet Theatre (ABT) with Principal Dancers and Angelina Ballerina hosted their annual Family Day benefit on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City. The event started at 11:30 am with a unique one-hour performance of fully costumed excerpts from the Company’s kid-friendly repertoire. A festive luncheon party at 12:30 pm followed at Avery Fisher Hall where children learned dance movement, tried on costumes, had photos taken with dancers, and created fun crafts. The event provided an opportunity to share a great day with family while raising funds to support the education and outreach programs of American Ballet Theatre.
