Cookie Themed Cocktails


Inspired by sugary treats, Partida Tequila has created four cookie themed cocktails that are perfect for the upcoming holiday season.

Partida produces four unique, premium Tequilas: Blanco ($50) is an unaged Tequila that is clean and crisp with a floral aroma blended with notes of citrus, fresh herbs and tropical fruit. Partida Blanco is used in the Chocolate Peppermint Cookie and Toasted Macaroon. Reposado ($58) is aged for six months in one-pass Jack Daniels American Oak barrels creating a light amber color. It is smooth and rich with a touch of sweetness. On the nose it has hints of chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut and almonds. Partida Reposado is showcased in the Sugar Cookie. Anejo ($67) is aged for 18 months in one-pass Jack Daniels American Oak barrels and tastes of soft honey fruit with flavors of spices and dried fruits. Partida Anejo is mixed to create the Seven Layer Cookie. Elegante Extra Anejo ($350) is aged 36-40 months in selected one-pass Jack Daniels American Oak barrels. The aging process creates notes of dark chocolate and dried fruit with a hint of vanilla.

Seven Layer Cookie 3/4 oz. Godiva® Liqueur 3/4 oz. Coconut rum 1/2 oz. Butterscotch Schnapps 1/2 oz. Partida Anejo Tequila 1/4 oz. Frangelico 1/2 oz. Bailey's Irish Cream® 1/2 oz. Amaretto MAKES 1 DRINK Garnish rim of a martini glass with crushed cookie crumbs. Shake all ingredients in a shaker with ice and strain into martini glass.

Toasted Macaroon 1 oz. Coconut Milk 1-1/2 oz. Coconut rum 1/4 oz. Licor 43 1/2 oz. Partida Blanco Tequila 1/2 oz. Frangelico MAKES 1 DRINK Combine ingredients in a shaker and shake with ice. Strain into a glass filled with ice and garnish with toasted coconut shavings on top.

Sugar Cookie 2-1/2 oz. Partida Resposado Tequila 1 Tsp. Brown Sugar Brown Sugar for garnish MAKES 1 DRINK Rim a cordial glass with brown sugar. Add tequila and brown sugar into a shaker with ice and hake ingredients well. Strain into glass.

Chocolate Peppermint Cookie 3/4 oz. Partida Blanco Tequila 1 oz. Peppermint Schnapps 3/4 oz. Godiva® Liqueur 1-1/2 oz. Cream MAKES 1 DRINK Rim martini glass with chocolate syrup and crushed candy canes. Shake ingredients in a shaker with ice and strain into martini glass.
