Background:
Naeem Khan was born in India and cultivated his knowledge of textiles growing up under the watchful eyes of his father and grandfather, both noted designers of intricate, luxurious clothing worn by the Indian royal families and other notables. As a teen, Khan moved to the United States, where he apprenticed for renowned fashion house, Halston. In 2003 he launched his eponymous collection consisting of impeccably tailored cocktail suits, embroidered caftans and glamorous dresses. Mr. Khan's loyal fans includes megastars such as Carrie Underwood, Eva Longoria, Taylor Swift and Beyonce. Most recently, he dressed First Lady Michelle Obama for the first State Dinner.
