Background: Born and raised in Israel. Father is famed Israeli actor and director Assi Dayan. Grandfather Moshe Dayan was Israel's legendary Defense Minister and General. As a teenager, appeared in Michal Bat Adam's film A Boy Takes a Girl. Worked as a fashion model before moving to New York in 1997 to work in the art world. Worked at Deitch Gallery and then Gagosian Gallery. Left Gagosian in 2004 with another Gagosian gallerist Stefania Bortolami to form the Bortolami Dayan Gallery in Chelsea. Ended the partnership in 2007.
