After a very brief stint working at Kidder Peabody, joined her Lebenthal & Co, the storied family-run brokerage firm co-founded by her grandparents Sayra and Louis Lebenthal. Became president and CEO of Lebenthal & Co. in 1995. In 2001, firm was sold to MONY Group Inc., where it became part of the Advest Group brokerage unit. Merrill Lynch acquired Advest in 2005 and owns the rights to the family name.
